Trey Grimes has served the past three (3) decades as a Digital Equity Ambassador bringing Education, information and instruction to the forefront in communities of color in his efforts of bridging the ever-widening digital divide.

Principal of Grimes Technology Consulting, LLC (GTC Technology) Denver CO, a technology consulting firm that specializes in Equitable Education/Technologies Content Creation for training and implementation for employment/careers (workforce development) and everyday taskings of technology use in communities of color.

His vast life experiences and education are embedded in the Arts, Education and Technologies fields, having served as a Education Technology Specialist with Denver Public Schools System (20 years) and as Technical Director for the World-renowned Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Theatre (1998-Present). With a Masters of Science Degree in Information Technology (2016) and Concentration in Digital Forensics (Certification), Trey has been able to create both a STEM-based Internship (STREAM™ 2015) and USDOL (United States Department of Labor) recognized Technical Apprenticeship (JAM™) Program for young scholars (K-12) and their communities of color throughout Colorado.

These STEM based technology training programs begin with all the basics from learning to turn on your device and accessing a secure network to advanced technological training in innovative technology based careers in professional lighting, digital audio, film/tv/video/media to AI, ML and the newly developed Cybersecurity in Arts & Media Technician Programming. To ensure the program is impactful for all ages in communities of color Trey has also created a Digital Navigator Curriculum based on real-life experience and living in underserved communities that provides Micro-credentialing upon completion of the program.
