Ryan Trujillo

City of Colorado Springs: Deputy Chief of Staff

Ryan Trujillo is the Deputy Chief of Staff for the City of Colorado Springs. Ryan has been with the City since 2014 where he has led a number of strategic initiatives, most notably standing up the Office of Innovation and establishing Colorado Springs smart cities program, SmartCOS. In his new role, Ryan is responsible for supporting the Mayor and Chief of Staff on key priorities, managing a number of city departments, and continuing to drive innovation throughout the organization and the community. Prior to working for the city, he spent eight years in the private sector with a focus in energy, contracting, commodities and project management. Ryan has a BA in Business Administration from Colorado College and an MBA from Regis University. He also serves on the Board and Executive Committee for the Colorado Smart Cities Alliance.
