Patrick Haggerty was recently confirmed by Governor Jim Pillen to the executive cabinet position of Nebraska State Broadband Director. He leads the Nebraska Broadband Office (NBO) by coordinating efforts across state and federal programs to ensure it is an innovative office capable of bringing broadband service and digital opportunities to every community.

In his previous role with Charter Communications, Patrick served as senior regional director of state government affairs. In this role, he was responsible for advancing state and local policy strategy across multiple states.

Before joining Charter in February 2017, Patrick held various senior operations, sales, and government affairs positions at CenturyLink, Qwest, and US West.

Patrick holds a master’s degree in business administration and a bachelor’s in marketing.
