Oliver Borchers-Williams

Nebraska: AmeriCorps Lead, Southeast Nebraska Development District

Oliver Borchers-Williams is an AmeriCorps Lead for Nebraska Fellow serving with the Southeast Nebraska Development District in Auburn, Nebraska. After completing his undergraduate education at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, he returned to southeast Nebraska and joined the inaugural cohort of Lead for Nebraska fellows as a Broadband Action Team coordinator at SENDD. Since beginning his term of service, Oliver has worked to raise awareness of the value of rural connectivity, guide the creation of groundbreaking public-private partnerships, and set southeast Nebraska on the path to increased broadband availability. He is a passionate advocate for rural communities and is proud to be giving back to the area he calls home.
