Cisco Mass-Scale Infrastructure Group (MIG): Technical Solution Architect
Leigh Wade joined Cisco in November 2021 as a Technical Solutions Architect in the Global Mass Infrastructure Group based in Denver Colorado. He works in the Service Provider market segment focusing on new product introduction in key technology areas in IP Networking, Optical and Automation. Leigh helps to drive network architecture and business transformations via the adoption of the latest technologies enabling service providers to meet growing traffic and application needs, whilst reducing Capex and Opex costs.
Prior to Cisco, Leigh worked for Infinera for 16 years where he held multiple positions in Marketing, Business Development and Sales in the US, Europe, and Asia Pacific. He worked with Service Providers globally to adopt Optical Transport Networks enabled by key technologies such as Photonic Integration, FlexGrid ROADM’s, OTN switching and GMPLS.
Mr. Wade has a B.Eng. from Birmingham University, UK, an MBA from Kingston University, UK and has 40 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.
