Krista Baker is a State Broadband Project Manager, currently managing broadband infrastructure grants from state and federal sources to get Idaho digitally connected. She has a strong background in Community and Economic Development and has managed numerous federal infrastructure grants. She is managing multiple Capital Projects Fund sub-recipient awards as well as supporting Idaho through awarding BEAD funding. Krista earned two bachelor’s degrees and a master’s degree from the University of Idaho and is an Operations Enduring Freedom War Vet. She resides in north central Idaho, approximately 300 miles from the Idaho State Capitol and is establishing the first satellite Broadband Office in the state.
