Emily Hale is the Broadband Grants Manager for the Department of Economic and Community Development within Tennessee State Government. Emily was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama and attended Auburn University. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Master of Public Administration. As a graduate of a land grant university, her public service philosophy is rooted in community development. She is currently responsible for the administration and compliance of $715M in ARPA funds and $813M in forthcoming BEAD funds. Emily enjoys strength training, hiking, and learning more about telecommunications.
