Oklahoma Broadband Office: Chief Strategic Officer

Edyn Rolls is a dynamic leader in the public and private sectors with experience in various roles. She is currently serving as the Chief Strategic Officer at the Oklahoma Broadband Office, where she is responsible for implementing the State Broadband Plan. In this role, Edyn works closely with the Broadband Governing Board and the Broadband Expansion Council to ensure that affordable, high-speed internet options are available to 100% of Oklahomans. To achieve this goal, the state of Oklahoma has committed over $1 billion in state and federal funding, with Edyn playing a key role in creating and administering grant programs to fund broadband infrastructure and accessibility.

Prior to her current role, Edyn worked as a Grants Analyst at the Office of Management and Enterprise Services and as the Director Of Scheduling and Executive Assistant to the Chief of Staff at the Executive Office of the Governor of Oklahoma.

Edyn received her Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General from Oklahoma City University in 2021. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Philosophy from the same university. During her time at Oklahoma City University, Edyn was involved in several student organizations, including Gamma Phi Beta and starting a non-profit organization on campus which supports the Oklahoma Children’s Hospital.

Outside of her professional work, Edyn is actively involved in volunteering. She serves as a Board Member at Children’s Health Foundation, where she contributes to the organization’s efforts to improve the health and well-being of children in Oklahoma. Edyn is also an Advisor for Gamma Phi Beta International Sorority, where she provides mentorship and guidance to young women seeking to develop their leadership skills and make a positive impact in their communities.
