Deb Walker

Ting: Regional Community Engagement and Public Affairs Manager

Deb Walker is the Regional Community Engagement and Public Affairs Manager for Ting Internet in Colorado. In this role she is focused on increasing digital inclusion, working with government officials, and developing community partnerships. Her commitment to equity and engagement comes from a career in the nonprofit sector focused on advocacy and civic engagement including as Director of Strategic Partnerships at The Independence Center a nonprofit that advances civil rights for people with disabilities and as the executive director of Citizens Project an organization that advocates for equity, inclusion, and justice in the Pikes Peak region.

She currently serves on the City of Colorado Springs City Council’s Law Enforcement Transparency and Accountability Commission and on the boards of The Haiti Village Project.
She is an alumnus of the Colorado Governor’s Fellowship and Colorado Springs Leadership Institute.

In her free time Deb serves as a US representative to the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) to help monitor elections for states in the Organization for Security Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).

Deb holds a master’s degree in public administration and has a deep commitment to help build better communities through engagement with local government.
