Davis Miller joined Backbone Fiber Systems in October of 2022 as Chief Operating Officer and brings the company over 26 years of telecommunication experience. Educated in a vast array of telecom disciplines including network construction, test and turn up of OSP and ISP infrastructure, optronics installation, maintenance operations and technician management.

Mr. Miller was formerly the Director of National Programs at Mears Broadband and held mulitiple positions at Ledcor Group for over 20 years and was responsible for all 24×7 dispatch and call center functions along with North American PMO services, quality and training. Some of Mr. Miller’s career highlights are as follows –

Project planning, execution and leadership, implementation of best in class safety programs, project management certification, effective P&L management and conflict resolution and problem solving. From being an Installation Technician in 1998 to a Chief Operating Officer in 2023 Davis has a wealth of knowledge from the ground up.
