Leading Path: Senior Technical Consultant and 5G Practice Leader
Daniel Kibler is Senior Technical Consultant and 5G Practice Leader with Leading Path, a management and technology consulting firm based in McLean, Virginia. Leading Path delivers communications infrastructure solutions for government and commercial customers.
Daniel is a 3GPP 5G enterprise systems developer specializing in the long-term impacts of the convergence of wireless and wireline technologies in access, middle mile, and core networks.
In 2010, Daniel led software development at New Global Telecom, a venture startup providing business voice over IP (VoIP) networks and services. At NGT he pioneered the use of asynchronous transactional interfaces for integration between systems. These interfaces became the basis for NGT’s integration and acquisition in 2010. The NGT product line continues to be available today.
Following NGT’s acquisition, Daniel contributed to the rollout of IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) voice infrastructure with a national operator. His work in IMS led to his involvement in 5G cellular, a peer specification to IMS under the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP).
Daniel has an MBA from the Consortium Institute of Management and Business Analysis (CIMBA) in Italy and a BS in Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
He also has a bachelor’s degree in classical music from Pennsylvania State University, and originally came to Colorado for the Aspen Music Festival that takes place there each summer.
Daniel lives in Denver with his family and loves the Colorado outdoors including skiing, whitewater, mountain biking, and many other activities.
