Daniel Holbrook
Oregon: Broadband Manager
Daniel Holbrook is Oregon’s Broadband Manager since 2021 because highspeed Internet access is critical to economic and community development. He built the Oregon Broadband Office from an office of one person without grant funding to an office of 13 colleagues with over a billion budget to fund four grant programs. Daniel earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography as well as a Master’s Degree in City and Regional Planning from the University of Memphis. In addition to his education, Daniel has two decades of local government experience in land use and infrastructure planning, management, and program development. He is a US Navy veteran, active member with American Institute of Certified Planners and has served as an elected official on the Dayton, Oregon City Council as Council President.
