Chad Kay serves as the Senior Director of Technical Operations at CCI Systems, Inc. Chad brings over 28 years of knowledge and experience to CCI’s team while continuing to provide innovative solutions for our clients.

In his current position, Chad’s main focus is on customers evolution into the future of their current systems. With his existing knowledge base of historic system architectures, Chad develops creative solutions to walk a customer from their current system status to new state of the art deployments along with the strategic deployment to upgrade these systems with minimum customer impact. This includes developing design architectures and creating CAPEX budgets.

In addition, Chad serves as CCI Systems’ resident HFC and FTTH specialist, providing support to both CCI engineers and customers. As a result, Chad is able to assist and provide an escalation path to help solve difficult and unusual problems that may occur in current system operations as well as those that arise during system upgrades.

Chad has held various positions throughout his career, including Coax Splicing Technician, Sweep Technician, Fiber Splicer, Apprentice Engineer, Packerland Broadband Plant Manager and State Engineer, HFC Director, and his current position as a Consultant.
