Brian Bailey is President and CEO at BBGeomatics, LLC (BBG). Mr. Bailey graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2002 with a B.S. in Business Administration. In 2008, Mr. Bailey transitioned into the engineering, surveying, mapping, and geospatial industry a LiDAR manufacturing company. Throughout his sales career, Mr. Bailey has successfully launched new and innovative products, services, and companies. Prior to BBG, Mr. Bailey successfully helped firms grow to become national leaders by integrating mobile LiDAR and mobile mapping into their service offerings. Having launched mobile LiDAR to the United States, Mr. Bailey is considered one of the forefathers and key thought leaders regarding this technology. Mr. Bailey has been published in every major geospatial and engineering publication and has been invited to speak and give presentations at more than 3 dozen national and international conferences. Mr. Bailey has been utilizing aerial, static, and mobile LiDAR technology for the last 16 years of a 22-year career. In June of 2018, Mr. Bailey co-founded BBG as a telecommunications engineering firm.
LiDAR has been a focus of Mr. Bailey’s career over the last 16 years. During this time, innovative solutions have been developed for many clients. Mr. Bailey has built his reputation and career by providing unique solutions to meet clients’ needs across many public and private clients. Some of them include BNSF Railway, Norfolk Southern, US Army Corp of Engineers, Cal-Trans, FDOT, Kiewit, Skanska, C Spire, Verizon, AT&T, AECOM, HNTB, FBI, CIA, Secret Service, US Department of Defense, and many more.
Mr. Bailey is an experienced LiDAR professional who excels at building corporate relationships, utilizing strategic management skills, and creating innovative ideas for leveraging new and emerging technologies for a wide range of projects within the geomatics industry. Mr. Bailey was at the forefront of implementing mobile mapping technologies within the mobile mapping and mobile LiDAR industry.
