Ashley Travers
KGP Co: Vice President, Strategic Partnerships
Ashley is a highly skilled engineering and global supply chain leader with 22+ years of experience.
She has spent the majority of her career scaling critical projects for KGP Co and Fortune 500 telecommunications corporation, Verizon Communications, Inc., both domestically and abroad. In Ashley’s current role as Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at KGP Co she is responsible for the strategic planning and execution of the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) program. This $42.5 billion government funded program expands high-speed internet access by funding planning, infrastructure deployment and adoption programs in all 50 states, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
Ashley helped pioneer the first 5G Super Bowl in Atlanta, GA, leading to implementation and management of similar projects in Miami and Tampa, FL. She previously worked to transform U.S. sourcing efforts which led to the stand-up of Verizon Services in Dublin, Ireland. In addition, Ashley has led and managed large teams of engineers (200+), supporting technically complex, high-visibility projects that shape the public and private telecommunication enterprise.
Ashley received her MBA from Rutgers University and Bachelors of Science from Emerson College. She has continued her professional education at Harvard University Business School, Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and Penn State University. Ashley won the prestigious Credo award at Verizon for her leadership standing up the global sourcing organization in Dublin, Ireland. She was also chosen as an ISE Visionary in 2019.
Ashley likes to spend her free time volunteering to help the homeless and at-risk youth as well as coaching youth lacrosse for her community recreation program. Ashley is a leader within the women’s THRIVE organization at KGP Co. She is an avid pickleball player, beach goer, traveler and yogi. She resides in Bernardsville, New Jersey with her two children and shih tzu.
