Michael is CTO of Pivot-Tech Development which was founded to design, build and operate Open Access fiber-optic networks offering a minimum 1 Gbps symmetrical service.

He led the Time Warner Multiple ISP program, an Open Access transformation of the cable modem broadband network which added Earthlink, AOL and Juno ISPs to Road Runner.

Michael was Inducted into the Cable TV Pioneers for his contribution to developing Broadband and Video products and services while at Time Warner Cable, Charter Communications, Terayon, Tandberg television and Ericsson.

He is a co-author of “Modern Cable Television Technology 2nd Edition” and author of “OpenCable Architecture.”
