Devon Braunstein serves as the Director of the Illinois Office of Broadband. In this role, she leads the state’s efforts to achieve universal connectivity and digital equity. Before joining the Office of Broadband, Devon served as the City of Chicago’s Digital Equity Director, where she led a citywide community engagement effort of 3,000+ residents most impacted by digital disparities, culminating in the publication and implementation of the city’s first co-created Digital Equity Plan and neighborhood broadband strategy. Prior to her role with the City, Devon worked for the New York City Department of Small Business Services and as a technology consultant with Deloitte, focusing on software implementation and tech strategy.
