Chris serves as an investment banker with over 20 years of experience funding projects straddling both the public and private sectors in broadband, energy efficiency, and real estate development. He has a thorough knowledge of the Capital Markets, Capital Leases, Debt, Equity, and public/private partnerships. He has a unique specialty in broadband, fiber, and wireless. In addition, he actively works on Federal lending policies to find ways to integrate the Capital Markets with the USDA (Rural Development), FFB, OMB, and US Treasury in Washington DC. Through the Federal Programs, Chris has underwritten over $750MM in USDA-Rural Development projects. In the 1990’s, in Boulder Colorado he worked with one of the first IP based wireless triple play networks and in the early 2000’s worked with one of the first IPTV network distribution systems which included one of the first IPTV negotiated content rights with Eagle Broadband (Houston, Texas). Chris worked on the State of Colorado’s Multi-use Telecommunications Network “MNT” for the State of Colorado’s Governor’s Office of Information Technology as well as an advisor to the Colorado Commission of Higher Education related to Broadband connectivity. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder, an Executive Board Member of the Family Resource Centers Association of Colorado, and as a hobby will occasionally will produce video content, he was the Colorado Production Manager for Nike’s Commercial “Move” which received an Emmy for Best Commercial in 2002. Chris lives in Denver Colorado with his wife and two boys and enjoys long distance cycling, backcountry skiing, mountaineering, and golf.
