Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies, Acting Broadband Fund & Deployment Director
Brian Martin is the Acting Director for the Broadband Fund, a program dedicated to helping 100% of Coloradoans gain access to Broadband level service. As part of Colorado’s Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA), The Broadband Fund supports the efforts of the Broadband Deployment Board to award funds through a competitive grant process to last-mile broadband infrastructure projects across the state of Colorado. Currently, the Broadband Fund oversees a portfolio of 31 projects across Colorado utilizing 24 million dollars to serve 16,385 households with Broadband Access. Brian joined DORA as a Grant Specialist in January 2019 after seven years overseeing Federal and State grant programs, both in Washington DC and Colorado, and was appointed Acting Director in August of 2019.
