Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO): Policy Advisor

Amber Crawford is a Policy Advisor with the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO), providing expertise to Ontario’s 444 municipal governments for the past five years. At AMO, Amber works on broadband policy by helping municipal Councils advocate for better connectivity for their residents and businesses, regardless of where they are located. Prior to joining AMO, Amber worked as a Consultant at a government relations firm, delivering strategic communications, public relations, and management consulting advice to over 40 clients from the private, public and non-profit sectors. She has also worked at the Ontario Ministry of Labour and the Human Resources & Skills Development Canada. Amber graduated with a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Administration from Carleton University and has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Western University.
