Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA): Sr. Policy & Advocacy Advisor

Alyssa is the Senior Policy & Advocacy Advisor at the Canadian Internet Registration Authority. She is responsible for monitoring domestic regulatory affairs and legislation, and participating in the activities of international Internet governance bodies. Prior to this, Alyssa worked as a Policy & Strategy Advisor at Cybera, Alberta’s non-profit research and education network. Alyssa sits on the Board of the Montreal Internet Exchange (QIX) and holds an elected seat on the policy advisory council for the American Registry of Internet Numbers (ARIN). She has served on the Board of the Internet Society Canada Chapter and volunteers frequently in her community. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Carleton University.
