Statewide Migration to an Emergency Services IP Network

June 25th – 2:00 pm to 2:45 pm
Grays Peak 2

Colorado is in the process of migrating every Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) in the state to an Emergency Services IP Network, or ESInet. This migration is the first step toward NG911, and it’s a move that has been contemplated for nearly a decade. This session will discuss how this decision came about, how the plan was developed for the migration, how much the migration is expected to cost, and what it means for the state’s 911 call centers and citizens.
