Do Network Headaches Keep You Up at Night?

May 25 – 10:30 am to 11:15 am

Building a fiber network is only the first step in providing best-in-class broadband services. Once the network is built, after hours callouts and truck rolls can be some of the most difficult and expensive challenges broadband service providers face. Join Doug Kuntz, Carrier Access Manager from Nex-Tech as he shares best practices in maintaining a fiber network. Nex-Tech, a telephone cooperative in Northwest Kansas and a pioneer in fiber since 1996, built one of the nation’s first community wide fiber-to-the-home networks in Hill City, KS. Hill City is the county seat in Graham County which Nex-Tech now believes may be the first 100% fiber-to-the-home county in the nation.
