Reliable and affordable high-speed internet is crucial for economic growth and community development in unserved and underserved rural areas. Right now state, local agencies and service providers carriers are coming together to do just that.  Montezuma County, the City of Cortez, Colorado Department of Transportation, the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe, the Southwest Colorado Council of Governments, Fast Track Communications, and Mammoth Networks are collaboratively alongside a private partner 2210Cortez, a local carrier colocation and data center to expand opportunities in, Public Safety, Telemedicine, Education and Jobs.
