A Sustainable Digital Inclusion Model for Communities
August 8 – 2:00 pm to 2:45 pm
Room 3

As the national conversation around broadband evolves, the dialog is being increasingly framed around three pillars of success – Access, Affordability, and Adoption. In this session, Curtis Dean with the Community Broadband Action Network will talk about how various entities – government, nonprofits, providers, and others – are working to address access, affordability, and especially adoption. Dean will focus on CBAN’s efforts to improve digital adoption by creating a Digital Navigator program that is scalable and sustainable for rural communities everywhere, providing one-on-one skills training, ACP support, and training for future trainers who can be embedded within host communities.
