Assistant Director, RoadX Program, Colorado Department of Transportation
Lesley Mace is the Assistant Director of the RoadX Program at the Colorado Department of Transportation. In this position, she is responsible for the integration of technology into the transportation system including planning, engineering design and construction. Lesley has been assisting Peter Kozinski in developing the RoadX program in Colorado since March 2016. Prior to joining the RoadX program, Lesley was responsible for developing and delivering Major Projects via innovative delivery methods including Design-Build and Public-Private-Partnerships.
Lesley has a diverse background of design, construction and project management experience to include Major Projects like I-25/Cimarron Interchange in Colorado Springs($120M), Region 2’s second largest construction project in CDOT history. Prior to joining the Colorado Department of Transportation, Lesley worked in the private sector for 10-years as a design and construction engineer for major transportation projects.
Lesley holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Traffic and Transportation Engineering. Lesley is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Colorado and currently holds memberships with a number of professional affiliations.
