Andy worked on Capitol Hill in communications strategy and media spokesman roles for the U.S. Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee, Senator John Kerry, and Senator Fritz Hollings, and he had his first opportunity to work in high profile, political communication as a member of Senate Minority Leader Tom Daschle’s communications team from 1997 to 2000. A Colorado native, Andy got his start on the Hill working as a staff assistant for former Congressman David Skaggs, who represented Colorado’s 2nd Congressional District.
Andy received his MBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, where he focused on business models and strategies that blend financial value with environmental and social value, and he holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in International Affairs and Political Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
